You’ve been dreaming of your special day since you were a little girl and now it’s coming up faster than you ever imagined. You feel like you have 50 tabs open at all times to make sure you don’t miss a single detail in regards to your day. Because well, it’s YOUR day and absolutely nothing should go wrong on the day you’re vowing to spend the rest of your life with that special someone.
We totally get it. So, to help you with one of the more minimalistic details, we’ve comprised a list of the wedding dress shots you absolutely need to take. Since let’s face it, you’re only wearing it for one day and you need to make the most out of the memories in that special gown. 1. Wedding Dress Prep
This is such a beautiful moment usually shared between the bride and her proud mama and team of bridesmaids. This step means that the time is almost near for the bride to walk down the aisle to her sweetheart!
2. Hanging Beauty
A popular shot amongst many brides, you must take this photo of your dress! We suggest purchasing a sparkly hanger to add to the aesthetic of the shot.
3. Being Carried (By Him)
There’s nothing more romantic than your man carrying you in your wedding dress.
4. Hanging with the Girls
We love this shot! Hang your bridesmaids’ dresses along with your wedding dress for a simple and sweet photo while getting ready.
5. Waist Down
Whether you have a full skirt or not, this shot is so, so lovely and will capture your shoes peeking through the bottom as well!

Have fun with this shot and take direction from your photographer on when to stop, look at your partner, etc. This shot is such a great view of your dress, especially if you have a dress train following behind!
