Can we please take a second to appreciate how adorable this fall engagement shoot is?!
Captured by CBA member, Tara Whittaker Photography, the unconditional love Ashley and Steve have for each other is so obvious. Their genuine laughs together, the way they look at each other – it’s safe to say we’re totally swooning over their connection on camera. The mountain scenery in this session also captures the essence of an Albertan fall so perfectly.
When choosing a photographer for your engagement photos, be authentic in telling them what’s significant about your chosen shoot location and how it may tie into your love story. These details can help the photographer gauge what shots to take, creating a more intimate style of photographs. It’s so important to feel a sense of who the couple is just by looking at their photos. I mean, don’t you get a warm and fuzzy feeling looking at Ashley and Steve’s photos too?!
Here’s a little blurb from the bride-to-be, Ashley herself: “We met in English 115 at the University of Victoria, 10 years ago. Steve proposed last February 12th, outside the Chateau Lake Louise. That day was the best day of my life, because it meant that the man I met on my very first day of undergrad, the man that I had dreamed of marrying for 10 years was going to be by my side forever. Our wedding is set for July 15th, next year in Kelowna B.C. We have always dreamed of getting married with a view of the lake, surrounded by our best friends and family, with a little live music to dance to. I think the aspect of marriage that we a re most excited about is starting our family. Steve has been my family for 10 years, but adding a pup and eventually a couple of kids is something we are very much looking forward to.”
